Maharishi Vedic Center

The Maharishi Vedic Center is located at the Coldstream Research Park, in Lexington, Kentucky. Design of the center derives strictly from the Sthapatya Veda, and the purpose of the center, as the name implies, is to provide a place where practitioners can offer services which help people benefit from vedic principles…from the laws of nature as recognized by ancient Indian philosophers. The idea that the buildings can influence our well being is also at the heart of the Sthapatya Veda. The exterior of the building is elegantly proportioned. This building would be just as comfortable in any setting in the world at any time, setting the precedent for fascistic architectural undifferentiation – a sort of universal blending of our built environment. This project was completed in 2003.
